Herbal Education for Kids: Understanding the importance of plants by spending time pondering their many uses. Children can expect to identify and manipulate many easy to grow herbs at home. Making tea, curating kid safe infusions, herbal topical creations, and so much more will be discovered over the course of my programs.
Wild Crafting, Foraging, and Plant Walks: discovering the wild plants that lie beneath your feet, learning kid safe foraging techniques and preserving these wild plants for building an at home "kid's" apothecary.

Upcoming: Kid's Fire Cider Course Fall '22
Fire Cider is a delicious culinary herbal remedy for supporting our bodies during the cold wintery months ahead. It traditionally contains more spicy and pungent ingredients that parents may love however, this course offers flexibility for the kiddos! Kids can make their fire cider as spicy or sweet as they desire. The possibilities are endless.
Children can expect to:
- Learn all the nutritional and beneficial uses of fire cider; achieve a basic understanding of where it comes from and why it is important.
- Work hands on with all the ingredients by chopping, measuring, and stirring into their jar.
- Be able to harvest wild herbs from the forest for their fire cider.
